Jordan Marie has done it again! Claiming Crusher is a phenomenal five star read!

Jordan Marie has done it again! Claiming Crusher is a phenomenal five star read! The buildup is steady and the ending will blow your socks off. Sit back with a nice glass of wine, box of tissues and enter the world of the Savage Brothers MC. There are multiple storylines running parallel throughout and the growth of each character attests to the brilliance of this author. In Loving Nicole we were left hanging, full of questions about Dani and Crusher’s relationship. Many disliked Nicole’s haughty best friend, especially after the shooting incident. Her character was portrayed as a party girl, stripper looking for her next fix, but as we read we learn that there is so much more to this intricately complex character. Her background was a mystery, and little did we know of the absolute horror that the young Melinda suffered at the hands of her abusive husband. Questions are answered about why she is running, who she is, and what she wantsaa from her new life. Attraction and desire between the hero and heroine and their battle between good and evil dominants this book. You will not want to miss the happily ever after ending, Crusher and Dani are given.
Crusher is the VP of the Savage Brothers MC, and a playboy. He carries a burden from his younger years of a love tragically lost. When he first meets the red lipped, feisty beauty, he is drawn to her lost soul. Time and time again, he tries to break through the barriers she has erected, only to be turned away. He hurts deeply for her and loves even deeper. You will laugh, cry and hurt alongside him as he forges the impossible by claiming a woman that has no desire to ever be claimed again.
Melinda aka Dani aka Hellcat is a strong courageous woman that fought for freedom from the dark oppression and gloom of a marriage arranged by her father to a monster named Michael. In the previous books, I had strong feelings of dislike towards Dani because of the drama her actions caused to unfold between Dragon and Nicole. You will not feel this way any longer. Jordan Marie humanizes Dani to a point you literally will feel like you are crawling inside the character’s mind and soul.
This book delves into domestic violence at an extreme level. The horrific punishments dealt out by Michael and his henchman Donald, are graphic and yet the story being told about Dani would be incomplete without them. The ending is comical, therapeutic and gory all at the same time. I look forward to the next book in this series. Each one continues to shine a light on the club, but also on the women that are opening up the readers understanding and perception of the Savage Brothers MC.

It's ok. Not a favorite

I haven't read the other Savage MC books and didn't know this was part of the series. I think you need to know the other characters to really get the idea of what's going on.
If this was a series I was reading I would like the length and minute detail, but since I do t know it I was lost in a few places.
This book to me was a little overdone. That's not to say it's bad, it was not what I like in a story. I think every single happening of every day was written. It moved slowly for me and I skimmed through a lot of it.
Dani's childish reaction to Crusher was annoying at times and I wanted to yell at her to get over it already. He was doing backflips to make her happy and she still held him at bay.
Be thankful you're away from Michael and move forward.
I didn't find the crazy possessiveness in the book the same as the blurbs on the FB pages. Crusher wasn't as dominate in the book by any stretch and I was disappointed by that.
I like this author but this book just wasn't a favorite.

Not as awesome as I was hoping :(

It was ok overall, but it had some big holes in it, which made it confusing at times. I can only imagine that it's difficult writing a story that follows the timeline of three others.
Maybe I am OCD like that, however Dani's friend Ray was actually Roy for the first three books... Also Dani was dancing/stripping at Wolves' Den or something, and was going to Pussy's for fun in the first three books. In this one we are told that the fun was actually "research" for her job as a stripper. And then she was upset because she had been switched to serving tables at her place of research after she had hurt her leg, instead of being allowed to dance. So where the heck was she stripping after all...? And I got another one... when they were celebrating Carrie's birthday, there's talk about how Dancer was going to get out of jail the following week, but at the end of the night Crush had to stay for a meeting with Dragon, Bull and uhm... Dance? Where, cause the man was still locked up.
So with all that being said, I didn't like Dani at all and it ruined my getting into the story, which is very sad, because I thought I'd love it, considering it is Crusher she's hooking up with after all :(. But no, the woman got on my nerves. I understand she was traumatized and I really felt for her while reading what she had gone through with her psycho husband. But she continued making stupid choices that got people hurt and killed. And then she was sad because OMG, the other people in the club were not all that crazy about her. And she ended up sucking Crusher into her web of craziness where the man couldn't think straight anymore and started making stupid choices as well.
Huge sigh here... disappointed about this one. However, I am so looking forward to Bull's story. The man truly deserves a good one. And the little part from the beginning of Bull's story that I read at the end of Crusher's made my suffering through this book so worth it. And I ended it with a smile. Cause it was pretty funny :)))
